delegation warning the search part of this formula might not work correctly on large data sets

Search('PurchaseList',TextInput1.Text,"EID","PID","PList1")

I have this simple code above but getting an error "The search part of this formula might not work correctly on larger data set."

When I only have less than 100 rows.

Anyone know why and how can I fix it?

    Do have a number field as part search. Also check if the delegation limit in the FILE.. Advance Setting... Delegation is less than 2000. If so increase it.

    Hi @nagestiada ,

    The Search() function is not Delegable, however with 100 rows, you can ignore the warning for now. If you are only looking for matching text (not text inside the field), you can use StartsWith(), with the added advantage of everything showing when the box is empty and filtering as you type. Make the Default of the box "" (empty string) and put this

    Filter(
     'PurchaseList',
     StartsWith(EID,TextInput1.Text) &&
     StartsWith(PID,TextInput1.Text) &&
     StartsWith(PList1,TextInput1.Text)
    )

    @nagestiada
    A Power Automate flow connected to Power Apps can be used to search a SharePoint list with no delegation warnings:

    There are also 3 more delegation workarounds for the Search function and you can see examples here:
