Email attaches multiple copies of files uploaded to MS Form

Hi there,

I have created a flow that attaches files uploaded to an MS Form into an email. However, if one file is uploaded one copy is attached to the email, if two files are uploaded two copies of each file are attached to the email, if three files are uploaded three copies of each file are attached to the email and so on.

Can you identify where the problem lies in my flow below, and what control do I need to insert / remove to make it just attach one copy of each file to the email?

I am very much a novice when it comes to Power Automate, so please bear that in mid with your response :)

You need to use one drive action - Get file content using path though you have used SharePoint action. For more help see this-https://gopenly.in/how-to-store-microsoft-forms-responses-in-a-sharepoint-list/

Hi, thanks for the reply I actually found your YT video after posting this question and I have now been able to send emails with files attached, which I could not have done without finding your excellent video!

I still have an issue with the flow in that if there are no files attached the flow fails at the Parse JSON step because it doesn't handle a null value. I have tried to insert a condition but so far it is beyond me, is that something you have addressed before?

If your parseJSON is failing due to there being no attachments you need to update the schema to remove attachments from the 'required' key. Its normally at the bottom of the schema.

What would I delete to allow the Parse JSON to complete where there are no files attached?
