Text field not showing any data on a form, but does update source data when altered.

I have a share point list that had 10 fields and in my app a form that shows the fields, and if you update the form and submit it, everything updates as expected. in the source data.
I added a new text column to the Sharepoint list, and added some data to it.

I refreshed my connection to the data source in Powerapps as normal.
I added the new field to the form as it was now in the available fields list as normal.

No data shows in the new field?

strangely, If I type some data in the new field and submit the form, it updates the source data, but will still not show any text in the field.
I have developed 100's of forms in the past and never seen this, and cannot resolve it.

Hello @CYT_Dev,

Please, remove the SharePoint connection and add it back again rather than just refreshing the data source.

It was another issue, caused by setting a variable for THISITEM from a grouped set of data using the specific missing field as the groupby... and therefore not showing as part of the data...
