Power app search function for recent SharePoint data

SortByColumns(Search(AddColumns('TWT Production Output',"CrewMemberValue",CrewMember.Value),TextInput2.Text,"CrewMemberValue"),"Date",SortOrder.Descending).

This is my items formula for gallery. But employees can not search recent data by CrewmemberValue. because the app is taking first 2000 list items. So is there any formula to fetch latest 1000 items rather than items from beginning. Crewmember is a choice column in SharePoint. That is why I used 'AddColumns' property.

If you want to search the latest 2k items, sort your list by ID, Descending first, then search it.

With({twt: Sort('TWT Production Output', ID, Descending)}, Search(twt, textinput1.Text, "CrewMemberValue) )

You can fetch the first 1000 records from sharepoint list after sorting in descending order to a collection and then use collection as the source of gallery.
You can use the function FirstN function fetch the first 1000 records.

Hi Thank you for your solution and search property is working fine. But if we click on the gallery item, it is not showing any data in 'EditForm'. I attached the screenshot below. I am confused about datasource and item property
