What might cause a Flow to successfully run at later time hangs on a later run...

the "Start and Wait for an Approval" step, with no Approval email sent out.

First test ran successfully with no problems all I did was added more next-steps and now I don't even see any email sent out.

Have you checked the flow run history ? Does the flow checker shows any errors?

History just says it's running it's been about an hour

Can you share flow history, are you sure the approval email hasn't been sent?

Also I just ran another test and it ran through fine.
and didn't change anything so I don't know why this one instance is hanging

I would say it might be a once off glitch so I would suggest giving it a bit more testing and see how it goes.
