Changing Permissions Causes Error

New to the Portals.

 

Bumbling and stumbling through my first portal. I'm getting tripped up by the permissions, I believe.

 

I've updated the Home page, and added a new page. I can see everything when the "Permissions" is set to "Page available to everyone".

 

When I flip it and try to apply specific permissions and roles I get the error message below. When I flip the permissions toggle I can ONLY see 'Administrators' as an option, even though 'Users' (which I created as a test), and 'Authorized User' are in the system.

    Hi @Phineas 

     

    Once you created web roles and when you hit save and close. 

     

    In Portal studio: 

     

    1. You have to press Sync config and refresh the page to view the newly created web roles. 

     

    Have a look at the thread where how you can protect your web pages using web roles and Web page access control rules. I think this will give better clarity
