I have inside a solution my cloud and desktop flows.
The problem is that I deleted some binary data and now when I try to edit the desktop flow i get the following error "A desktop flow binary object of manifest type that is required to edit or run this flow was not found."

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

This binary data is now required in the solution to run Desktop Flows. I had the same issue. If you only removed the binary data from the solution, you can go to the desktop flow in the solution, click on the three dots, and add the required objects. That will add the binary data back to the solution. If this doesn’t work, try creating a new solution and adding the Power Automate Desktop flow to the new solution or create a copy of the flow in the Desktop Flow App and try to open the copy.

Let me know if that works.
    Anthony.

    Thanks for your answer @AnthonyAmador.

I tried all the possible solutions that you suggested but nothing worked for me.

Is there a way to restore my environment to a previous version? And if I achieve that will my solution + flows be restored to previous versions too?

    Hi,

If you are having backup copy of solution, try to export into different environment and check whether it is opening or not, if it works fine, then delete current env code and try to import again. Here previous version may works.

    Thanks for your answer @Riyaz_riz11.

Unfortunately, I don't have a backup of the solution.

Τhe strange thing about this situation is that the desktop flows, when triggered by the cloud, run without any problems.

I’d suggest opening a support ticket with Microsoft. They probably will know how to restore the binary data. If you do it and get an answer, please post it here.

    Good luck.
    Anthony.

Finally, after opening a support ticket to Microsoft they managed to restore my flows.
The problem was that I lost the manifest file that is created when you import a desktop flow in a solution, so in order to restore the desktop flow they had to create a new manifest file and connect it to the broken desktop flow.
