Comparing specific columns on two excel sheets

I have two excel spreadsheets with a ton of data. I have no problem comparing spreadsheets when searching for overlapping data when there is only one column but when there's many columns, how do I make it so that power automate can have a flow that can compare two columns with certain headers.

For example: Given one spreadsheet with a list of different fruits (watermelon, apple, pineapple) and a spreadsheet with a list of different pizza toppings (pepperoni, cheese, pineapple) how do I compare the values in the pineapple section and determine which values in the pineapple sections are not matching.

I'm not sure I understand your example.

So you're saying...

Fruit.xlsx

COLUMN1

- Watermelon

- Apple

- Pineapple

Pizza.xlsx

COLUMN1

- Pepperoni

- Cheese

- Pineapple

Or are you saying it's more like

Pizza.xlsx

PEPPERONI | CHEESE | PINEAPPLE

Yes | No | Yes

Yes | Yes | No

?

And then, how are you looking to compare the Pineapples if the latter? How many there are? Is there a key in the rows that associate the two files? Definitely need more info here to be able to help.

Is one of these files is a sort of a target file that needs to be verified/updated after comparing the two files, or so you need to apply the same to both files somehow?

Can you perhaps provide sample files and describe the expected output?

If one of the files is a sort of a master/target file that you want updated, and the other is a data file that simply needs to be checked, you could read the data from the two files, then build a For each loop for the rows of the first file and use Find or replace in data table on the second file to find matching rows.
