HI All,
Just confirming adding to a list.
Apple, Banana, Carrot.
Above must be done individually, not comma separated / new line etc.
Im aware of Excel " Retrieve data table column into list ".
Just wondering is there another option....
The action 'Split Text' can take a single text value and make it a list. You can choose the delimiter as one of the parameters, so in this case, the delimiter would be ", ".

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaa, never thought of putting the list into a var...
Basically I didnt want to reference a text / Excel file but input directly to Pad, just something im messing around with.

It most certainly does, I had a feeling there was a way, however that's a lot of punctuation marks 🤣

It gets even more "tricky" when you need to mix variable values with strings on the list, but it is a great way to reduce the amount of Write to Excel actions, if you need to populate cells downwards ✌
Thats exactly what I was trying out, reducing read/ writes. The list could be edited within Pad itself rather than editing " a source file ". Thanks again.
