Auto Check Out

Hi,

So I built a visitor management app and it has been running great for over a year now.

The app has Check in and Check out Screen. When visitors checked in their names shows up on the check out list and they can select their name and click check out when they leave. It has been working great but I am still missing this option to:

auto check out all visitors on the sharepoint list who forgot to check out when it hits 11:59pm for the day.

What I do is check the sharepoint list everyday if someone forgets to check out and I checked them out myself and added a comment that they forgot to check out. (If there's auto check out I don't need to do this anymore and no need to add comment everytime) 😁

Here's my Check Out code OnSelect

UpdateContext({isLoading:true});UpdateContext({EditRecord:Patch((Visitors_Master_List),LookUp(Visitors_Master_List,ID=Gallery4.Selected.ID),{'Checkout Datetime':Now()})});UpdateContext({isLoading:false});Navigate(MainScreen,BorderStyle.None);Notify("Check out successful, thank you for visiting Company Name!",NotificationType.Success)

Is there a code to add to AUTO CHECK OUT all users on the list when the day ends? Maybe add it on the GALLERY?

Here's my gallery Items code

With({aFilter: Filter(Visitors_Master_List, 'Checkout Datetime' = Blank())},
 Sort(
 aFilter,
 'Name (Title)',
 SortOrder.Descending
 )
)

Not sure where to add an auto check out code. Maybe on the Gallery? add a code where checked out everyone when the day ends? or on the OnVisible of the check out Screen? or on the check out button? 😕

Thanks in advance for all the help. 😀

    Hello @johnm_, I recommend that this process be carried out with power automate, in which you create a flow that runs on the days you like at the time you like, validates and changes the state.

    @DanyV507 Thanks for this suggestion! I've also thought of this too I am just not sure how to do it with power automate?(not familiar) Will the automation be done on the sharepoint list where my data is connected?Or on powerapps? Thanks!

    @johnm_
    Validation is performed on the sharepoint list.
    There are many videos on how to do this automation.
