Hi, I'm having some problem with MS Booking Timezones. There is a workaround in place but I would like to understand the issue.
I have created the Booking Calendar (I am in Australia) but it is ultimately for South America. For the Service I have specified Santiago as the timezone.
The booking time slots appear to be correct for Santiago time. However, I have a Flow that is triggered on the new calendar event.
The flow takes the Calendar/Event Start time along with other detail and populates to a SharePoint List as a manifest for which the clinician marks the clients as attended/no show etc.
The start date retrieved from the booking is incorrect. I have instead used a substring formula to pull out the booking timeslot from the body of the event.
I would prefer to have Start Time working though. The difference isn't a neat number. I would have expected with UTC conversion a 4 hour difference, but instead, it is consistently 3.55 hours out.
For example:
Reported Event Start Time: 2020-4-15T18:40:00.000000
Actual booking start time is 14:45
3:55 hours more than actual time.
Reported Event Start Time: 2020-04-15T19:00:00.0000000
Actual booking start time is 15:05
3.55 hours more than actual time
Santiago is -4 UTC, so why is it out 5 minutes?
I've ended up using an Add to Date action to add the 5 minutes... just wondering why there is a discrepancy.
Thank you!
