Locking Drop Down Calendar

Good Morning,

Can someone please tell me if there's a way to lock a calendar in an app?

I tried changing the Display Mode to View/Disabled and saved the changes, however, the calendar keeps defaulting to Birthdays.  I want the calendar to stay on GRMI Nor/Cen Construction Vacation Calendar.

Any help/suggestions?  Thank you!
