Need help with design populating Combo Box with Sharepoint Document Library folder names

Hello,

I need to implement the following requirement: I need to implement a combo box (cannot be dropdown as it needs to be searchable from the connected Sharepoint source, if I find a solution I need to add other combo boxes with the same approach but long folder list) that consists of the following text names found in my Sharepoint Document Library: Documents/IMS Published Folder:

Additionaly 04. OBSOLETE should not be included.

What seems to be most challenging is that this combo box needs to be dynamic. So if someone adds: 07. TEST this should be added to the combo box choices.

I have connected my Document Library named Documents to my Power App, but so far the suggestion I seem to be given is to attach a Power Automate with Sharepoint Send HTTP Request action to the ComboBox OnSelect. I prefer not to go this route as the flow could take some time to execute and I prefer my user to not wait for this.

Is there any other way to implement this requirement? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Best wishes,

    Hi @DJanssen,

Do you want to lis some folder names in combobox dynamically?

Actually, the data refreshes once it is updated.

So, please set the Items property as below:

Filter(Documents, 'Folder path' = "Shared Documents/IMS Published Folder/", IsFolder,"04" in 'File name with extension'))

    Hello @v-qiaqi-msft ,

Yes basically I want to have dynamic filled folder names in my Combo Box. I tried out your suggestion:

    The result:

When I turn Searchable off since I do remember that Searchable is not possible with Sharepoint filtering:

Another thing I tried with Searchable to false:

This does give some entries but they are not visible:

Text color is set to black so I think they are just blank.

If you have any other suggestions I would love to hear them 🙂

    Hi @DJanssen,

The field you set for ComboBox is not correct.
