PowerApps Customized Form no edit for users?

Hi,

i build a simple PowerApps Customzied Form for a sharepoint list. All works good, but i dont want that the user, who filled the form, can also edit my PowerApps Form.

Is it possible to lock the "edit Button" without to set the user in "only read-mode"? When i do this, the Powerapp Button "customized" is not visibel, but then the user cant write/save in the form.

Hi @AndyPBC ,

If I get you right, you don't want the user to change the form using PowerApps studio. If that is right make them simple contribute permission so that they will not be able to see the customize option but the users can add/edit the item.

If you want only a specific user to edit the form, on your edit button, put the specific user's email as:
Visible property of the Edit button: User().Email=abc@iii.com
so it only abc@iii.com who can see the button

Hi @AndyPBC ,

Follow the below steps:
Click on List Settings
Click on Permissions for this List
Click on Stop Inheriting permissions
Click on grant permissions
Provide user / users you want restrict and click on Show Options on the popup
now Select the permission level as Edit
Click Save and validate now

Hi @AndyPBC ,

@KrishnaV 's solution is excellent, but I think you need to reduce their permission level to contribute. If they have the Edit permission they can modify the list which means they can also modify the PowerApps custom form. Users with contribute permission can only edit items in the list but not the list itself and therefore can't modify the PowerApps custom form.
