FormatDateTime - problem with type of value

Hi

I follow step by step as written in this article.

But by Compose - Meeting End data time - i get any error.

Unable to process template language expressions in action 'Compose - Meeting End data time' inputs at line '0' and column '0': 'The template language function 'formatDateTime' expects its first parameter to be of type string. The provided value is of type 'Null'. Please see https://aka.ms/logicexpressions#formatdatetime for usage details.'.

This is strange to me because the difference is only in changing the column name.

formatDateTime(triggerOutputs()?['body/MeetingDate'], 'yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mm:ssZ')
formatDateTime(triggerOutputs()?['body/MeetingEndDate'], 'yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mm:ssZ')

What's wrong with it?

Thanks a lot.

    When you change the column you would also need to update your expressions. That could explain why it is not able to find the date values, the error messages says that these are empty (aka null).

    Have a look at this blog how to find your specific field names:

    Additionally, you can also included an empty check (if your fields are not required):
    if(empty(triggerOutputs()?['body']?['YourMeetingDateField']), 'No value found', formatdatetime(triggerOutputs()?['body']?['YourMeetingDateField'], 'yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mm:ssZ'))
