Gallery filtered by two different sources

Hi all,

If anyone can help me confirming if this is possible. I have a gallery and I want to be able to filter it by either a search box or a combo box.

I managed to have the function working separately but I can't make it work when put the two together.

Filter('Portfolio All Itemss', StartsWith('Project Name',TextBox1_2.Value)||StartsWith('Portfolio ID',TextBox1_2.Value))

Second combo box:

Filter('Portfolio All Itemss', 'Domain Type'in ComboBox3.SelectedItems.Value)

Is it possible to have 2 different sources of filtering?

    Hi @jda2005py ,

    Do you want to combine them into one filter formula?

    What is relationship of below two conditions?

    StartsWith('Project Name',TextBox1_2.Value)||StartsWith('Portfolio ID',TextBox1_2.Value)
     'Domain Type'in ComboBox3.SelectedItems.Value

    If the relationship between them is "and", please try this.

    Filter('Portfolio All Itemss', StartsWith('Project Name',TextBox1_2.Value)||StartsWith('Portfolio ID',TextBox1_2.Value), 'Domain Type'in ComboBox3.SelectedItems.Value)

    Best regards,

    Rimmon

    I think in this case would be or - the user can either type on the search bar or select a domain from the combo box.

    Hi @jda2005py ,

    OK. Have you tried this?

    Filter('Portfolio All Itemss', StartsWith('Project Name',TextBox1_2.Value)||StartsWith('Portfolio ID',TextBox1_2.Value)|| 'Domain Type'in ComboBox3.SelectedItems.Value)

    This way is working partially - I can only filter the gallery if I type and select a combo option:

    Filter('Portfolio All Itemss', StartsWith('Project Name',TextBox1_2.Value)||StartsWith('Portfolio ID',TextBox1_2.Value), 'Domain Type'in ComboBox3.SelectedItems.Value)

    This way is not working at all - nothing comes up:

    Filter('Portfolio All Itemss', StartsWith('Project Name',TextBox1_2.Value)||StartsWith('Portfolio ID',TextBox1_2.Value)|| 'Domain Type'in ComboBox3.SelectedItems.Value)

    Hi @jda2005py ,

    Are there some special types of columns? Such as choice column or person column.
