Hello,
I have applied a tooltip for one of my icons. It displays on desktops but I am unable to display the tooltip on the app when published for tablet/iPad. How do I ensure the tooltip will display when hovered/tapped on the tablet/iPad?

That would depend on how the device difines the 'hover' events.
Staff rgruian explains this in this thread:

In general this is only possible if the device used has the ability to translate certain touch gestures to "hover" events. The stylus used also plays a role here. A simple stylus (or a finger) doesn't necessarily have the resolution to produce anything other than "touched" or "not touched" -- and that extra resolution is exactly what would be needed to show tooltips.
