How to Pass sensitive information in "Send Email" action.

Hello,

Can anybody please tell me how to pass sensitive information like Password in Send Email Action using Variable?

for eg. I have stored the Password in a variable & want to pass that variable in Send Email Action. Is that possible?. How can I achieve that?

    Hello @dRautela_1234, 

     

    Currently there is not an option to use a variable for passing sensitive data (e.g. a password) in the "Send email" action. 
    The password value will have to be manually inputted.

     

    We are working on a mechanism for variables containing sensitive data and it will be available in the near future.

    Do they go out your account through the mail server and it's rules?

     

    We have a mail rule that if the subject starts with "ORG ENCRYPT: ", it will only send a link that needs to be logged into to actually view the email.  This may work for you.

    Hi @William382 , Thanks for the answer. 

    But, my concern is to use a variable for passing sensitive data (e.g. a password) in the "Send email" action. 

    Scenario:-

    1. Ask for prompt an email id & password into variable mail_id & pass respectively.

    2. Want to pass the above variables i.e. mail_id & pass in send an email action to validate the email id password is correct or not.
