Subnested gallery master ID related to primay gallery ID doesnt retrieve star ratings value from sub gallery sharepoint

Hi, I need assist to solve a peculiar problem.
we have users who submit their course applications stored in sharepoint A. No problem they get stored.
once course is completed the same users will select a gallery item pertaining to their completed course to complete the course evaluation based on the course name . They will select the rating stars and this is stored into sharepoint B. No problem here these are storing well. The Master ID in sharepoint B will relate to ID on sharepoint A, the idea is to pull related data.

A management primary gallery is able to view data from submitted applicant's data from sharepoint A and
a nested Subdashboard gallery is supposed to the show ratings from the evaluation form which is sharepoint B.  Subgallery items is Filter(SubGallery,MasterID =ThisItem.ID)
The problem is primary gallery is able to show the data but the nested subgallery fails to retreive the ratings that we have stored in sharepoint B related to the course.
However if i create a new gallery simply with subgallery alone against sharepoint B I get to see the rating values. can someone advise me how to fix this. I got some screenshots below.

    Hi @nchandran ,

Please try and use below steps:

    1. generate/update a variable when select the button in subgallery:

    Navigate(FormScreen,ScreenTransition.None, {SubID: ThisItem.ID})

    2. Add a Label on the Form screen and set Default to SubID variable to see if the value has passed successfully.

    3. Form DataSource:

ListB, the same source as SubGallery Items.

    4. Form Item:

    LookUp(ListB, ID = SubID)

    5. Default of those Data Cards within the form:

    ThisItem.'1.1', ThisItem.'1.2', etc.

    6. Default of TextInput DataCardValues:

    Parent.Default

    Jeffer,

I got this error , database of form is sharepoint b. I notice i have the MasterID as card in the form and the card default is If(Form.Mode = FormMode.New, varRecord.ID, ThisItem.MasterID), the varRecord comes from another screen. Do i need to change this?

    Hi @nchandran ,

It's not the error, the red cross is from the Form, Item property I suspect. If you can get proper IDs from selecting in list A Gallery, it's fine. The message is just telling you why you cannot get the result directly shown underneath the formula bar.

    Best regards,

    Jeffer,

what i did for the evaluation form submission, i added the MasterID card and the datacardvalue is If(EvalFormNew.Mode = FormMode.New, varRecord.ID, ThisItem. MasterID) so it gets populates itself with ID from sharepoint A and upon submission stored that master ID with that identical number. Am i doing something wrong here?

Managed to solve this problem by applying the lookup syntax.
