I have created a Dataverse Team which a security role is connected to. I would like to add the app to that team or that security role. Right now, someone has to go to the solution, find the app and click Share and add the user and that is not really a good solution.

Do I have create a group that is connected to azure(entra) or is this possible?

The group i have been suing for this is an owner group...

I want the HR department to be able to share the app and its not a good place for them to go into the solutions page and look for the right app to share.

Why is this not a good solution? For good governance you should explicitly set who you want to share the app with although you could probably set it with an RPA process.
