"DESCRIPTION" in ICS file not showing up

Hi all!

I am having issue with getting the "DESCRIPTION" part in my ics file to show up when I open it in my email. Currently I just get a blank invite, with only the time and date, and the subject.

Shown below is the ics format I am currently using.

For the red box, I initially used "DESCRIPTION:" but it is not showing anything.

I searched around and found someone suggested using this "X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:", but it is not working as well.

Anyone encountered this issue before and managed to resolve it?

What's the content of your description?
Are you just trying to format it with new lines? The DESCRIPTION: should work fine in conjunction with \n for a new line

If it's fancier formatting you need it'll be a bit trickier

The raw html as the input doesn't work, it does however if it's part of your variable, assuming you're not wanting to do anything too fancy you could put the description into formatting. Or consider trying to split it up either at the input or after submission

Here I added the Subject, decription and location into the html
