Dropdown list showing extra options

Hi everyone,

I have a Power App with five dropdowns that the user can choose specific options. Category 4 is the one I am having an issue with. I am not sure why Not Company Funds is an option to be chosen. It should not be based on the other category conditions.

This is what the some of the data looks like. Operating -> Transactional -> X -> X -> Company Funds should always be Company Funds.

If Operating -> Transactional are selected as the first two drop downs. Based on all of the other data in SharePoint, Category 4 can only be Company Funds. Why is it showing Not Company Funds. That is an option, but not for the options said above.

Looking at operation -> relationship deposit -> negotiated deposit -> company managed -> company funds. When relationship deposit is selected in category 1 it automatically makes it so category 2 is Negotiated, category 3 is Company managed, and category 4 is company funds. It functions as it should.

I hope this makes sense and if any help could be offered that would be great.

    It would be helpful if you could post the formula you are currently using.

    Distinct(Filter(Category, 'Account category 3 - Description' = Acct_Cat_3_Dropdown.Selected.'Account category 3 - Description'),'Account category 4 - Description')

    for that specific category

    Your column names are not clear to me.   For the sake of simplicity, I will call them Title, col1, col2, col3, col4 and since I don't know the name of your table, I'll call it Table1.  Further I will assume the relationships between the columns as: Title has many col1, col1 has many col2, col2 has many col3,

    using dd1 as shorthand for Dropdown1 dd1 to dd4 are cascading.

    dd1 items property: Distinct(Table1, Title)

    dd2 items property: Distinct(Filter(Table1, col1=dd1.Selected.Result), col1)

    dd3 items property: Distinct(Filter(Table1, col2=dd2.Selected.Result), col2)

    dd4 items property Distinct(Table1,Coll3=dd3.Selected.Result), col3)

    dd5 items property Distinct(Table1, Col4)

    The gallery would have the Items property

    Filter(Table1, Col3=dd4.Selected.Result && dd5.Selected.Result)
