I tried everything to get to "dynamics contents and expression" ? I read posts with similair problem, and the solution there was to resize the view, but that did not help.
So how to get to this pane

When you write expression and want to pass arguments, you have to click dynamic content and select the dynamic content you want to pass as an argument, this would help
My problem is that I cannot find the way to add an expression.When I want to add an expression like : replace(left(text,4),newtext) I don't know how to add that. I can add an action like "replace text" and then I get a screen like below. I managed to remove a space character with the action below, but I do not understand the use of % and where to place the '- character.Power automate added another backslash where I put only one. Is there any documentation about this?
Did you meant you need to add expression in power automate desktop same as how you do in cloud flow?
I am not familiar with cloud flow. I recently started using Power Automate Desktop and still have al lot to learn 🙂 . I am looking for a way to remove a UTF-8 BOM header from string/file, and in the examples i found are using an expression. Until now I used bomremover.exe but I would to handle everything in Power Automate. I have to convert some what looks like a bin64 file to a pdf.
That is Power Automate desktop. There is no dynamic content or expressions in desktop. Those are only available in regular power Automate at https://make.powerautomate.com
Thank you, I found indeed that I was referring to the cloud version. Luckily I have access to both versions
