Power automate doesn't recognize UI elements programs that run as administrator.

Hi,

Im trying to find a solution for power automate desktop not recognizing UI elements in programs that run as administrator.

 

I already try to run power automate desktop as administrator and I also try to change properties his

it in the compatibility tab to always run as administrator. It doesn't work.

 

Is there a way of elevating even more the privileges of Power automate Desktop?

 

For exemple, "Macro Recorder" is another program to record macro and repetitive tasks in your computer. If you run it default power automate will recognize his UI elements. If you run as admin Power automate will not recognize the UI elements.

Can someone help me?

    Hello, @Ricardor 

    Please close PAD (also check in the task manager that it is fully terminated) and then re-run it with admin rights.

    Can you explain a bit more about why you need to run PAD or applicaiton as administrator?

    So I have a program that I want to interact with UI elements. That program by defeault has the user account control icon. So it has to run as administrator to work.

    The problem is that UI elements of that program are not recognize in that program because it runs by defeault with admin priv.

    I try to run Power automate has administrator but it didn't work

    Hi James - this did not work.  I tried multiple times.  Any other solution?
