Hi,

I'm using the Stream media control and have a gallery of buttons. Each button sets the context variable on the next screen to the chapter name in the video.

It's one video, but depending on the choice of the user then video should start at the correct time code for that chapter.

The switch control works in the StartTime property. I see the output value is the number I put in.

It's in seconds from the start time so 7 minutes and 32 seconds is 452 in the property.

But it doesn't work. I deleted the switch control and just put in the value 452 as a number type and even this doesn't work.

How can I fix this? Please help!

Hi @Tolu_Victor,

I found the answer in this thread https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Power-Apps/Possible-bug-Stream-Video-Start-time/m-p/1658544#M422466.

He says that you need to set the StartTime variable first, then the URL variable and then the visible variable last. You have to do it in that order.

Hey @Tolu_Victor ,

Thanks for your response. It's not working at all. The video plays from the beginning irrespective of whether I put in a switch statement with multiple values (which return actual verified values) or just a single hard-coded value.

I understood it takes the number of seconds from the beginning of the video and that is what the value should be.

For instance, if I want the video to start 30 seconds in then the value for StartTime should be 30.

Is it that it is not starting at all or it is just starting at the wrong time.
