Unattended mode connection error in Power automate

We have a desktop flow set up on a virtual machine that runs successfully in attended mode. However, when we schedule this desktop flow to run in unattended mode using cloud flow, we encounter an 'MSEntraLogonFailure' error. Are there any specific configurations required to run the desktop flow in unattended mode, aside from the licensing and environment setup on the virtual machine? How can we resolve this error?

If you click into it, does it give you any more information?

    Other thoughts:

If you go into Machines, does it say connected?

Do the credentials used have authorization to reach the machine?

Is the bot developed using a version later than what is installed on the machine?

Hi, Here is the error detail: 'Could not create unattended session with these credentials. Please make sure you have Network Level Authentication (NLA) disabled in your remote settings if you’re using Microsoft Entra ID credentials.'

    To answer your other questions:

If you go into Machines, does it say connected? - Yes

Do the credentials used have authorization to reach the machine? -Yes, we are developing the process using the same credential in the virtual machine.

Is the bot developed using a version later than what is installed on the machine? - No

Not sure if it's applicable in your scenario, but you might try this on your remote machine:

    1. Open System Properties on your machine (you can search for it in the Start menu).
    2. Go to the Remote tab.
    3. In the Remote Desktop section, select the option that says “Allow connections from computers running any version of Remote Desktop (less secure)”.
    4. Click Apply and then OK.

Outside of that, maybe others have ideas

Due to security purpose, our organization does not prefer to enable this option. Are there any other options to fix this issue?

Have you configured the PAD agent correctly and linked it to your connections in cloud?
This doesn't require any permissions from admin.

If it works for you, kindly mark it as a solution.

Hi Pradeep, we have installed the desktop flow and developed the process in the same VM.
