If I take an existing application, Save it as a different name, then publish it, will it go to the same target destination, or will it publish as it's own application?
I just want to be sure.

Good question. I took an App I wrote and did a Save As. Since the url is different for the two copies, then the answer is "Yes" it is a different application. You can verify this yourself by looking at the Details of each App and validate the that url being used is different.

@subsguts is correct if you open it from a downloaded file or use "Save As", however you can rename a file and re-publish it and keep the same reference
