As per my understanding,Yes, Power Automate Desktop’s OCR action can read multiple formats in a PDF file.

I understand you're referring to multiple formats such as text, tables, or images in PDFs, correct? If so, then indeed, the PAD OCR action supports all of them. It will scan the data as text and return the output.

The default OCR features two engines, Tesseract and Windows OCR, which you can utilize for your automation.

If the first and second pages of a PDF file have completely different formats (for example, page 1 is an invoice summary and page 2 is the details), is it possible to output each one accurately as text?

If possible, please share a screenshot of the PDF or a sample PDF for our reference; it will enable us to assist you more accurately.

Technically, it is feasible; you can use the "Extract text from PDF" action as shown below, which will extract the first page and save it into a variable named "InvoiceSummaryText".

Similarly for second page:

If you wish to extract pages 1 and 2 simultaneously, please follow the steps below:

If you wish to extract data from all pages, change the "Pages(s) to extract" option to "All."

In case if you want to extract any table from pdf then follow the below action:

It will convert your table values into a data table variable; however, this will function properly only if your table is formatted correctly, otherwise, it may not work efficiently.
