Issue with Canvas Apps and Solutions

Hi

 

I've had an issue in the past where when I've put a Canvas App and it's associated flows into a solution it's disconnected the Flows from the App.

 

Has anyone had anything similar to this and can help me avert this issue going forward?

 

I've got to move some apps from a live environment with no backup and I don't want to get this wrong

    It is best practice to always use a solution. If you have a new Solution and you are adding apps and flows to this. First, add the app, then add all the flows. Then ensure you setup your environment variables and connection references within side the solution. Ensure your flows are using the connection references from the solution and not local references.

    Thanks, @phipps0218   but this is what I did before, and it generated the issue I described in the OP,

     

    I was wondering if this was something that others had encountered when doing what I do consider normal practice.
