MS forms Existing results trigger into excel?

hi all,

I'm just learning so please be kind 🙂

I've created a couple of flows that both work.

1. Triggered by new response in MS forms, send the details and some Outlook 365 data to add a new row in an excel SS.

this is great it's going to save so much time ,but one form already has several results in it - before I discovered power automate.

Is there a way to download the already existing results? I can view these using view results but the outlook 365 information would be missing if I just copied the rows.

Many Thanks

Kat

@Kat1234 there is no trigger for getting the existing rows. The only thing you can do is to copy the data from the spreadesheet behind the form (in the responses tab) into your new spreadsheet.

Thanks @RobElliott  - I had already thought of that but my issue being. I was using power automate to help grab names - our company uses a jumble of letters and numbers as email addresses - so powerautomate was saving me having to search each one in outlook.

I guess there is no way to do this in the excel file that's already there?

thanks for your reply -appreciate it 🙂

@Kat1234 no, unfortunately there isn't any way to do that from the responses already there in the Forms Spreadsheet. But you could copy the existing spreadsheet email column to a new spreadsheet and format it as a table. Then build a manually-triggered flow to get the rows from the spreadsheet and add an Office 365 Users action to look up each person's details.

Hi @RobElliott Rob, I hadn't seen your follow up message. How would I create a manually triggered flow to do the last bit please? this would be super useful. I'm still learning - balantly

Could I add it to the above SS or would it need to be a new branch?

    thank you Kat

.s. I thought I had managed it but it's only updating the last row - since I've added the power automate. I know I need another trigger point.
