Formulae in Power apps to filter SharePoint list column based on other column

Hi,

we have share pint list and we are using power apps form to pull data from a list column called Title. Now what our objective is to pull only those items from Title column which have the Status column choice entry as Under review. I have put a Fx for Drop down item as

Filter([@'Our Voted List'], Status.Value='Under review').'Title'

But getting syntax error under Status,Value. I checked the column names are correct as well.  Any idea to fix it?

    Hi

Can you please post the Error itself.

Is status a single or multiple selection choice?

    Cheers

@FLMike  the error is saying: Name is not valid. "Under review" is not recognized. Status is multi choice column

Also not sure if this is helpful but my card properties are this

    Hi

Unfortunately multi-select Columns do not work the way you are using it. If it was a Single choice (which what you have still dont work), then I could show you how.

Multi-Choice is a complete pain where you need to generate a String and do comparisons etc.

Does it have to be a multi-selection?

@FLMike I am wondering to use workaround by using another calculated column which sees status value as Under review and put a value as yes or something and i can use that instead in power apps?

    No worries,

If its always that option (has to be in) then do this

Filter([@'Our Voted List'], Status in ['Our Voted List'.Status].'Under Review').Title

Now I can't see your screen so we you may need to change it a little but what this does is fake an Array (table) which means multi-selected, but only passing one hard coded choice.

If we need another go please use a screen shot of the error. I am typing based on your names.

    Cheers

    Hi,

The code I gave is the correct way to do it. I mean you can try to use a calculated, but I would just use the filter in my response

    @FLMike Sure, lets try that

I also think I am working on wrong list lol. I found the correct one and trying now

So this is the standard answer. I was just trying to get around this one since you have a hard coded answer, versus these which aren't
