created a flow to receive and parse email, add an excel record, then send email and put date of email sent in excel record and make a calendar event to call client.... working fine.  now the questions is.. how do i get the user to put in the date of the phone call and then continue the flow to send emails based on future dates? even if the user manually goes into excel and adds the date ... should i somehow check that record repeatedly until that field is filled in, create a new flow to check or use the same flow... really not sure best practice to do this. Thank You
I have the same question (0)

    I would add the data to a SharePoint list rather than to an Excel spreadsheet. If people need it in a spreadsheet, you can always export the SharePoint list to Excel and refresh the data.

    What you want to do, except for "should i somehow check that record repeatedly until that field is filled", I don't understand. But, for the part I do understand, once the data is in a SharePoint list, that part would be easy.

    You would create another workflow with a trigger condition that runs when "that field" is not empty. However, once it is filled in, if the item is updated again, the flow will trigger again. If it shouldn't trigger again, you should add a second trigger condition on a field that you would set when the flow triggers the first time. For trigger conditions, they all must evaluate to true for the flow to run.

    Here is an example of trigger conditions:
    In the above, the flow will trigger when Changes Required is false (yes/no field) and the Contract Entry Date has been populated. When the flow runs, it updates Changes Required to true so the flow will not run again when the changes are made.

    ok started making the list as compared to the excel spreadsheet. when i am making the calendar event (or should i be using a Task?) is there a way to put a checkbox in there then confirms that person called, if so it will then populate a column in the list with a yes and then trigger the remaining emails? Thanks for your guidance

    Since you want the checkbox to trigger a flow when it is checked, you would need to add it to the SharePoint list. Just add a yes/no question with the default value of no. You can then set up a flow that has a trigger condition for when the value is true to send the e-mails.

    upon testing with these triggers: if i go in and delete the date from Called Date and uncheck Called and then recheck called it is not triggering. Any ideas?
    @equals(triggerOutputs()?['body/Called'], true)
    @not(empty(triggerOutputs()?['body/Called Date']))
