Office365Outlook.CalendarGetTablesV2 isDefaultCalendar property not available

Hi,

I want to set the ID of the default calendar in a variable in a canvas app.

Calling the function "CalendarGetTablesV2" with the Office 365 Outlook Connector in Power Automate lists the property "isDefaultCalendar" in the outputs as expected:

However, in Power Apps this property is not available with the function Office365Outlook.CalendarGetTablesV2, although it should be the same connector.

Tried with this code:

Set(
 defaultCalendarID,
 LookUp(
 Office365Outlook.CalendarGetTablesV2().value,
 isDefaultCalendar = "true"
 ).name
)

which results in this error:

Anyone with an idea out there on whats my error or how to achieve this?

    Hi @HerrMueller

    There is no property such as "isDefault". Always used using Calendar name

     LookUp(
     Office365Outlook.CalendarGetTablesV2().value,
     name = "Calendar"
     )

    I came across the same observation as @HerrMueller .

    I don't understand why the connector returns a different answer depending on whether you are in a CanvasApp or a PowerAutomate (different behaviors for the same operation...). If it's a performance issue, can't we "force" it to return all the fields?

    The workaround proposed here only works if you know the name of the default calendar for your audience. So if your app can run in French/Dutch/English/... , you must have a logic to retrieve the good one (not very difficult but no future-proof). Indeed, if you need to expand the scope (to a public who use Outlook in Portuguese for example), you need to adapt this logic.

    I suppose another option would be to use a Power Automate for this but it's a shame 😞

    As we need to use the name of the calendar, that piece of code creates a problem when the users browser is not in English. For example, in Portuguese, name is "Calendario". You just need to add these language possibilities in your code. In this case:

    LookUp(
     Office365Outlook.CalendarGetTablesV2().value,
     name = "Calendar" || name = "Calendário"
     )
