Regarding #1, depends on what the impact is. If any security vulnerability is accepted as high severity, then Product Team do consider them accordingly, and plan to fix them as per the bandwidth and other priority items already in the pipeline.
Regarding #2, I didn't fully get what you meant by breaking changes within platform. Can you elaborate please?

that is where you can read the sOC report and details of penetration testing and other cyber security testing.
Microsoft takes these things very seriously and also has a bug bounty program where hackers who find bugs and vulnerabilities can get paid to report them. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/msrc/bounty
bugs in the platform are generally addressed very quickly
