Broken flow

I have a MS Form set up and the flow is created. For some reason this morning the flow broke and experienced an error. I filled out the form as a test and submitted it and the exact same error occurred. Here is the error:

"Unable to process template language expressions in action 'Parse_JSON_-_Flow_gets_the_file_name' inputs at line '0' and column '0': 'Required property 'content' expects a value but got null. Path ''.'."

Not sure what is causing the issue.

Did you set this up to work with attachments or some other files?

Your Parse JSON step is not getting any values so it is error.

Either your flow is not getting the attachment/file, or the Parse JSON is incorrect.

It is set to accept attachments. So if I have that but attachments need to be optional, can that happen or does it HAVE to have an attachment to keep the flow from breaking?

You need to put in a Condition. You need to set up the condition to check if there is an attachment or not. If there is an attachment then do the Yes steps, if there is not an attachment then do the No steps or skip down.

    The Condition

This is where you will check if there is an attachment. I don't know what exactly you are going to use, but it will be something like a formula.

    empty({filename}) is equal to false

This says if the file name is empty which will return a true value is equal to false. So it would be No.

However if the empty({filename}) actually has a filename then it will be false. So false is equal to false so Yes.

Look at the empty() expression below

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/logic-apps/workflow-definition-language-functions-reference#empty

Hopefully that gets you on the right track
