    Hi @MDR26 , The Information  that you provided is not sufficient to give any suggestion. Please share the partly visible screen. Also what is het dropdown? Also are you using any container? Please elaborate your issue with screenshot and other details.

    Thanks,

    ANB

    Is it because no language is set until you choose one?

    I think that's the problem. But how can I solve that?

    Now i have in the app on start - Set(varCurrentLanguage, Coalesce( Lower(Left(Language(),2)),"nl"));

    Hi @MDR26 ,

    Follow These steps:

    1. Set Screen Size and Orientation: Ensure the screen size and orientation settings in PowerApps match those of the device where the app is primarily used.

    2. Check 'App.OnStart': Review any code in the App.OnStart property. This code runs when the app starts, and errors here can affect the initial screen rendering.

    3. Delay Navigation: If you have navigation code in App.OnStart, consider adding a slight delay with Timer control or SetTimeout function to ensure all components are loaded.

    4. Initialize Variables: Make sure all necessary variables are initialized before the first screen is visible, especially those tied to visibility and layout of controls.

    5. Loading Data: If the visibility of elements depends on data loaded from a data source, consider adding a loading spinner or similar indication until all data is retrieved.

    6. Screen 'OnVisible' Property: Utilize the OnVisible property of the first screen to refresh data or reset controls.

    7. Check Control Properties: Some properties like 'Visible', 'Width', 'Height', etc., could be set dynamically and might be causing issues. Ensure they're set to show the content correctly.

    8. Browser Cache: Sometimes after publishing, browser caching issues can cause the app not to display correctly. Clear the browser cache or try in an incognito window.

    9. Test on Different Devices: Sometimes, display issues are device-specific. Test the app on different devices and browsers.

    10. Session Details: Use the SessionInfo function to check if there is any difference in the user session between preview and published versions.

    Best Regards,

    Hassan Raza

    If adding it to the OnStart hasn't fixed it, what's in the OnChange for the dropdown?

  • MDR26 Profile Picture
    on at

    OnChange of the dropdown is - Set(varCurrentLanguage,Dropdown1.Selected.Value)

    What about the Items property of the dropdown?

    Maybe the value you're setting in the OnStart doesn't match anything in your Items?

    Items are the languages ["nl","fr"]

    If you display varCurrentLanguage in a text label before setting it with the dropdown, what does it show?

  • MDR26 Profile Picture
    on at

    The text in a text label is LookUp(Tabel1,LanguageTag = varCurrentLanguage && TextID = "Tekst1ID").LocalizedText

    Is that what you mean?
