Created the app in powerapps studio using English language setting. When users use the app in other language(in this case Norwegian) the EditForm can not be submit without Error: Object reference is not set to an instance of an Object. This happens only for columns in the database that are expecting Float values. The database is an azure SQL database.

If the user have English language setings there are no error produced. Might be a comma vs dot problem with the sql query.

Say you want to represent 10% in float

In Norwegian this is 0,10 (delimiter is a comma)

In English this is 0.10 (delimiter is a dot)

Should be fixed.

    Hi @Anonymous

I also had the same issue when using a Patch command. Please see here:

    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/PowerApps-Forum/BUG-Patch-non-integer-to-SQL-server-gives-error-for-European/m-p/13916

Maybe @v-micsh-msft has an update on this issue for us.

PS I was patching monetary values so I worked around it by multiplying by 100 and storing the resulting integer value.

    Not ideal, but works.

PPS Be careful with dates as well if you want to store dates without time

    Hi @Anonymous and @Meneghino,

Apologize for the late response, and thanks for the feedback.

We have issues related to Localization collected, but currently there is no further information that I could share.

    Regards
