Power Pages: prevent saving in middle of multistep form

Hello,

 

I have a multistep web form. 

The problem is when I click on next button to go to the second step, it already saves/creates the record. So if I decide to cancel the filling of the form, I find myself with records with bad data or not filled completely.

 

Is there any parameter to prevent this behaviour?

    Hi,

     

    By default  multistep webform is a autosave function. So if we submitted on step 1 automatically it will create a record.

    For example now you need to create a new record, when we click on create button it will show previously created record from step 2(means where we stopped to fill).

    Now if you click on create button it has to open with new record to fill means follow below steps:

     

    Step 1:

    Go to portal management

    Go to multistep form

    You will see below option start new session on load make  it as yes

    Your response does resolve partially the problem. And because there is no other way to prevent saving until the last step.
