Hi,
I used the fantastic tutorial to create a nice menu using the power apps component module:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3S0h2nODcxM
Now I seem to have run into a problem that I can reproduce but not figure out how to solve.
The component has a output property called: MenuWidth which is set as a parameter of the components.width.
basically the output property MenuWidth sets the Width of the component depending if its open or closed.
if its open set it to 640 pixel width
if its closed set it to the menu.icon width (64)
so far this worked like a charm but recently i discovered that, when i load the app in powerapps, the width of the component (set to component.menuwidth, the output parameter) is 0, hence the component does not show up.
the tutorial demonstrates this at 16:05min in the video.
the only way to "resolve" this issue currently is by opening the component editor in powerapps studio and clicking the "access app-scope" button once, immediately the width property is set correctly and the compoent shows up properly when switching back into the screen view of the app.
regardless if the option "access app-scope" is set to true or false, as soon as i reload the app into the powerapps studio it breaks, only clicking the components "access app-scope" button once seems to "refresh" the component and all values are set and the component shows up correctly on the screen.
this did not happen a week ago, is this a bug that was recently introduced? did anyone else encounter a similar problem?
Thank you in advance for any feedback on this.
