I have a scrollable screen with a datacard. Inside the data card I have a gallery. I have the height I want set forthe datacard. I used Parent.Height for the gallery. The gallery shows that height but the gallery card nade from the sharepoint list will not allow me to change the height. I tred to input height but it keeps defailting back to old value?

You might try Parent.TemplateHeight

It still reverts back to this fixed height that I do not know where it is coming from?

I mis-read your initial post - a card will take the height of the "tallest" card in the row - do you have another card in the row with a larger height?
