Hallo,

Hello,

I don't know if I'm in the right place, but I have the following problem with MS PowerApps.

I have 2 text input fields and want to insert the input from one text field into the other by clicking on a button.

Example:

txtFeld1: Here "Hello world" was written in

Now I would like to click on the button and by this click then also in txtFeld2 "Hello world" should stand.

Can someone help me here?

    Hi @Benny2602 ,

    The easiest way to do this is to set the txtFeld2 Default: property to

    txtFeld1.Text

    This way txtFeld2 will always reflect what is being typed into txtFeld1, without the need for a button to copy it.

    If you absolutely need to use a button, then you could use a variable instead - in which case you would set the button OnSelect: property to something like;

    UpdateContext({varCopyText: txtFeld1.Text});
    Reset(txtFeld2) //Reset in case someone entered something else into the field manually

    and the txtFeld2 Default: property to

    varCopyText

    Ich hoffe das hilft,

    RT
