For new items with patch, i dont need to define Defaults?!

Hello All,

i just noticed that patch, (now?) works without defining defaults... if only new item of course is required?

Can someone confirm the behaviour?

Patch('SPO List',
 
 {
 Column: "value xyz" }
);

Yes - you do not need Defaults() - I tend to use it to be more specific on what I am asking the system to do.
