I have an Edit form which has a drop down called "Approval". There are also 2 buttons, "Approve" and "Reject". When the "Approve" button or "Reject" button is clicked, I want my drop down to get populated with "Approve" or "Reject". I tried the following but it didn't work.

OnSelect = Approval.Selected.Value = "Approve"

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi @isogunro1 ,

Use a variable and assign it to the dropdown's DefaultSelectedItems property.
On the Approve button onselect
Set( Item, "Approve");
On the reject button on select.
Set( Item, "Reject");

If above would not work then tell me what do you have Items property.

I did this but it didn't work. The items for the dropdown is Choices([@'travelList'].Approval)

On the Approve button onselect
Set( approvalStatus, "Approve");
On the reject button on select.
Set( approvalStatus, "Reject");

Any thoughts?

I figured it out.
DefaultSelectedItems = [approvalStatus]
