Help with flow input

Hello,

I am quite new to power automate and have built something using various tutorials and using examples on this form so forgive my terminology etc.

I have one flow which parses data from an e-mail to a sharepoint list - that's working very well.

I have a second flow which the user manually triggers by selecting an item in the sharepoint list and clicking automate on the command bar and the trigger button.  The input pane then opens for them to input some information which is not received in the first flow.

My question is.  Can these input questions only be asked based on an existing value in the sharepoint list?  For the sake of this example: If the value is 'Worker' in the 'Worker Type' column

Thanks in advance

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @smodkins

The answer is "No", You can't ask for specific parameters depending on column values. In order to do that, you could use Microsoft Forms, where you create a Form requesting some info and then triggering the workflow, or even Power Apps, although it depends on the business case.

    Hope that helps!

Thank you for your response! It's a shame it can't be done but in this case I don't think it's worth the additional effort of a form or power app.
