SearchInputText not showing the X icon on phone or ipad

I have created a powerapp from the the Sharepoint phone layout. When I put something in the search box an "X" icon appears which allows you to cancel the search input, however this X appears only when I test the powerapp on the computer, it does not appear on the phone or the ipad.

Has anyone else come across this problem? And found a solution?

I solved that problem by going to the options (File), go to app settings, screen size, and then putt on the lock aspect ratio...

Hi JaniceC,

I get the same issue when run an app on iOS and iPad. There is no “X” icon allows me to cancel the search text.

If convenience, may I suggest you submit an idea at PowerApps Ideas Forum, PGs will check this forum and take it into consideration in the future release:

Thanks for the suggestion, but the lock aspect ratio is already on, so this does not solve my problem.
