Hello, I have a requirement to include a symbol next to records that have been updated. My app has multiple tabs, and one of the fields is "Risk Rank" which is updated when a record has been assigned to someone.

The Gallery filter displays records where Assigned to is equal to the logged in user and Status is Open. Users cannot update the status as the records have to go through a formal investigation, so the Status is always set to Open which is part of the filter. However, they can update the Risk Rank and other fields. I would like once they update the Risk Rank, if the records in the Gallery that were updated can have a symbol beside the record to identify that it was updated so that they will know which records assigned to them still need updating. Any guidance on this appreciated.

Every record has a create date and create by plus a modified date and modified by. You can at least use the difference in these columns to determine when changed
You could simply have a label showing something like: "This item was last modified on " & Text(This Item.Modified","dd/mm/yyy") & " by " & ThisItem.'Modified by'.????

Hi @Ventit - thanks for the feedback. The modified will not work for this because users can modify a record multiple times and can lose track of if its actually completed. However, when it is risk ranked, then it is actually completed so if the risk rank column is not empty probably I can show hide a symbol or a field saying Risk Ranked or item risk ranked or something. Was wondering how to do something like this so once they see those, they know they do not have to update from their work queue. Or probably I can set an additional filter or group on the gallery to show records by risk ranked is blank and is not blank?

Not sure if this helps but in some of my gallery's I allow the user to send an SMS if the record has a mobile number. It is only visible if the mobile exists in the record. In my case it is feasible to also put a desk number so I need to distinguish that as well. In Oz all our mobiles start with 04 so I in the visible property is put
If(Left(ThisItem.Phone,2)="04", true,false)
So if the number is a mobile it will be visible. On the Onselct I do my actions
I do the same thing with Email Icon
