Hi All, I am new to Powerapps but I have read that it is better to create a Powerapp Form instead of a MS Form. Before I start can anybody tell me if it’s possible to have a link to a Powerapp Form on an intranet site that will give you a form to complete with approvals from other people which will then populate a MS List without seeing the MS List? I have a MS Form at the moment doing this but I think it would be better to use Powerapps.

If you would like to connect a Power Apps Canvas App (Form) with on-prem SharePoint site list, you will need the gateway:

To answer your questions, yes you will be able to achieve your goal via Power Apps Form. Users only need to use the App to fill in the Form and waiting for approval (better with Power Automate or Flow), data will be stored into the list without showing the list. But write permission of the list is still needed.
