Hi,

I Have 2 variables which I need to define a process to search for a folder, however the number and name variables change each loop. The process example is as follows:

A number '33574' Associates to 'Jordan manly LTD PTY' Which then follows a process to search for folder 'Jordan manly LTD PTY' (If exist) and then the year '2023' (if exist) (if not then - number 33574 if exist - if not then display message "Folder not found") - If found (Move Folder 33574 to Number into folder 33574).

Struggling to get my head around the 2 variables being 'associated' with one another. Was thinking maybe a Join text and Split might work? Any thoughts?

So, some options, and really, it’s going to depend on how many correlations you have. Less than 10, option 1, more than 10, option 2.

Option 1, use a switch. A switch can be used to choose one variable or flow path based on the value of a particle variable.

Switch %Number%
Case 33574

Set variable %Company% to Jordan manly LTD PTY

Case 33578

Set variable %Company% to Annis LTD

End (Select)

Option 2 - have all numbers in column A and all companies in column B of an Excel File. In C1 have an input for number. In D1 have the following formula: =VLOOKUP(C1,$A:$B,2,FALSE)

instead of a switch, you can just write the number to C1, and Read the company name from D1
