refresh form

Hi All,

having a SPO List where i customized the form with powerapps... the form has now 4 screens and each screen has one form.

Saving is done via patch.

Some elements check the thisitem.xxx to decide if they should be visible or not.

The problem i have is that if i create a new item from scratch, select some value on first screen and click save, the field on second screen that should be visible (because of my choice on previous screen) will not do it until i close the item and reopen it again.

Refresh(source) after patch did nothing

How to solve this??

Thanks a lot!

Hello @Sifu , where you place your visiblity control matters in doing this.

I'd advise you put your control on the visible property of the Datacard on screen 2. For example:

i want to hide a datacard on my form base on the value i have for Thistem.XXX.

do a lookup function like. On Visible of the Datacard put this code. Lookup(Datasource,Thistem.XXX="yyy",true, true, false) ....

You can also Put a refresh function .... Refresh(Datasource); at the point of Navigating to Screen 2, which would immediately trigger the code visibility condition.

    I hope this helps.

Hi, i think what you describe is currently also happening,

    - the card is hidden untill thisitem.xxx has a certain value

    - once i patch i also refresh but nothing happens

    - i can even place a button with refresh(source) on that screen above that form but it still will not realize that this item actually has that value
