Create random, unique barcode value

When moving from Sharepoint lists to Dataverse, I found that it is not possible to generate barcodes (for free).

Is there any way to do the following when adding a new item to my equipment list:

- Generate a random12 digit number.

- Make sure that the new random number is unique to the table/column.

If this is possible, I can use and external site to generate the barcode based on the generatad number.

QR-codes: Is it possible to do something similar with QR-codes in stead? I guess they are more complex..

In Dataverse, we have Autonumber field which generates based on a few combinations
Sequential format
Datetime
RandomString (Max 6 Char)
You can combine these 3 options to get 12 char lengths.

For example
{SEQNUM:6}{RANDSTRING:6} --> 001000QUKJIN {DATETIMEUTC:yyyyddMM}{RANDSTRING:6} --> 20211410D344BG
